this is from Francesco's fb page....
Hallo everybody! First of all I wanna say thanx to everyone supported me for these ten years of music with U.D.O.! Many things happened during these years and now I feel it's time to take the best decision for me and my career. It wasn't a simple decision to take, but it's time for me to look forward and take other ways apart from U.D.O. Again thanks you all for your love and support and for so many messages I'm receiving in this hours. We'll see you soon with other projects and situation!
and this is from the U.D.O. fb page...
Drummer Francesco Jovino left U.D.O. due to personal reason. The band is searching for a new drummer now since a complete world tour is scheduled for 2015 starting early March 2015. If you feel ready to become the new U.D.O. drummer feel free to mail your application to fsuepfle@itm-agency.com (please NO big attachments with sound files or similar, if we're interested we gonna contact you and ask for further information).

Surprise, surprise. Thank you Francesco for the long time in the band.
Now they need to find a new drummer for the next tour... in 2 months? And will he be third Italian in a row? ☺

Remember how fast Francesco came into the band. This is a shame really.

Very very sad! I hope he didn't leave with hate. He finally could play drumms on U.D.O. studio albums and now he quits... just when we could discover his studio work.

First, it´s very sad for me.
Second, it´s strange the way and the moment (before a 3 months world tour)
Some unexpected has happened? Total respect if he wants to do other things with a new band/people (all of us know UDO will end... c´est la vie). This point makes me be very confused... Igor leaves before Steelhammer recordings and now UDO have to look for a replacement very very fast.
For sure, I wish the best for Francesco.

Just remember how fast the band has made decisions before. Schwarmann left and Lorenzo came into the band. Then Francesco came to replace Lorenzo with some days alert. And when Igor left, Kasperi came in a very short notice, too.
So I think the band will find a good replacement. They have done it before and this time they have plenty of time which hasn't been the case often.

As for Igor, I have info that he was not eager too much ( Igor -eager) to participate in UDO for more cause it became harder for him to make such long-lasting tours apart from his family etc. So both sides left each other without any misunderstanding. Probably Francesko "did" his time as well He did all he could and he felt that he is to move on single-handedly apart from UDO. BTW I always liked his drums very much. Ten years of his drumming in UDO passed by but I still was thinking of him as of new drummer

Stefan and Herman are out from Accept. Francesco to Accept or Stefan to U.D.O. I don't think this will happend but speculation..

I think the main reason for Herman and Stefan quitting Accept is their own band The German Panzer.

Is Uwe Lulis (ex Grave Digger) the replacement on guitar? At his Facebook profile you can see "Works in ACCEPT"

Watching spanish metal web Rafabasa.com I have seen a funny opinion about Herma-Stefan exit from Accept: "...Udo always can return on drums"
