I hope the team doesn't lose any more players from this season. (one good defense man was already bought by another team from Tappara). It was also a pity that Tappara lost two most valuable players in the play offs before the finals. Alexander Barkov (Finnish) is only 17 years old, but one of the most skillful players Finland has ever had in that age. But hey icehockey World Championships is soon to begin. It has got two players from Tappara.

There was a real surprise at the Ice-Hockey World Championships: Russia - France 1-2. I think it was the first time that France won Russia in ice-hockey. For example Finland has never lost to France...
Today it is Russia against Finland.

The game was good- technical and not rude. Finns had more luck and got fair victory.
My thought are in next round

Finland is in the semi-finals! They won Slovakia today 4-3. It was a tough game. When the first perion was over Finland lead 3-0. I think they thought the game is over. Then Slovakia started to play and Finland was in BIG trouble. The two worst defensemen Lepistö and Hietanen in the Finnish team gave two goals to Slovakia.
Btw, the savior in the Finnish team was the goalkeeper who also stopped Tappara in the finals in the Finnish ice-hockey league.

Our team lost with unrealistic score, so I cheer for Soumi now.

It was Kovalchuk and Radulov + the others. USA was a team and they had an awesome goalie. Your two goalies were bad, really bad.
