I never bought rev raptor. That says a lot for me as in the past I would wait for the maul to have a new udo/ accept cd in my my hands. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems that udo/ Fitty have become closer then maybe udo/ Stefan was. Fitty seems more internet savvy to since I see him on Facebook a lot. Perhaps he read some of the thoughs of us and relayed the need for change. I find it hard to believe Stefan's health excuse again in the Sophia videos he looked in top form. Anyway, my original point is that without this change the band was fading away. This may just be the key! Sometimes you need fresh ideas andfresh points of view!

I agree. Rev-Raptor was the first U.D.O. album I never bought, I have all the others, in many different versions. Well, Dominator I had in two different versions, one got stolen and the other, vinyl version, is now in Spain with Dani. Anyway, in my mind this was the last moment to change the direction. I'm really anxious to see the upcoming video, what kind of stuff we're gonna get soon. I guess that I will buy the new album if there are no drum machines there, and I guess there won't be any. I read from the local paper here, that the new guitar player, Kasperi, will fly to Germany next week and they will be shooting the new video then.

Absolutely the same here guys! Haven't bought neither Leatherhead nor Rev-Raptor. And at this moment I believe in .U.D.O. more than ever in let's say 10 years.

Well, it seems I'm the only one who bought "Rev-Raptor"... LOL You know, U.D.O. is my fave band (also Accept) and I buy all the new stuff they release... It was a real weird album, but I found there some cool songs Hope the new changes can boost the band again to the top!! Rikke: yeah man, I have that "Dominator" LP over here, it is safe and kept with all the rest of my U.D.O. LPs next to me. Thanks a lot man!!

Well, it seems I'm the only one who bought "Rev-Raptor"... LOL I bought that also, but I've regretted it. Btw, I said after buying Rev-Raptor...that I won't buy the next record if is produced by Kaufmann. If Kaufmann had been the procucer on this new album, I would have not bought it. Now I might buy the newest one. I was so disappointed to Rev-Raptor and it's production: soundworld etc...

Well, it seems I'm the only one who bought "Rev-Raptor"... LOL i also bought rev-raptor just on the release date. it is just a ritual since TIMEBOMB to go into the store on release date. i buy and collect anything of new UDO stuff. first i couldn't really say anything bad about rev-raptor although i was disapointed from the first moment. it was always a kind of "no go" for me to have critisism about udo. i just tried to find anything good on rev-raptor but now i don't like the record. FAIRY TALES, DR. DEATH and 1 - 2 more songs could have been cool songs but the songwriting in general doesn't give me anything. i couldn't find surprising moments in the songs nor creativ ideas. also the soundworld is horrible; this destroyes the songs. i think udo noticed that also.. it was just in time to change something... i am very excited about the things that will come out.

This just seems like a calculated change. All during a new cd recording.

I bought Rev-Raptor too. And I listen to it quite a lot. For me it's a good background music to do something else or to work on something. However, it's really "uninsteresting" album for a concetrated listening.

I also bought Rev-Raptor. The release of that album was around the time I got interested in U.D.O, so I thought it was a good album, except for the production.
I'm looking very much forward to heading the new stuff.

I didn´t bought Rev Raptor, and never will do. I´ve loved Udo and U.D.O. for many years, but I´m sorry I´m not interested in that kind of stuff anymore. That "pseudo industrial Metal" is not what I like. I would be very happy if U.D.O. music turns to the style of songs like "Hard Attack" (Accept), "I´m a Rebel" (Accept), "Living on a frontline", "Heart of gold", "Monster man" (Accept), "24/7", "Rich and famous" (Accept), "Burning" (Accept)... more Hard Rock n Roll oriented. That would be my pleasure. But I know this is not gonna happen... they keep on that "Punching Meta"l style....

other than the vinyl version of mastercutor, i haven't bought any u.d.o. stuff since M&M. i don't even think i bought that one. i can't remember. but i have my hopes set on the new stuff. maybe not on this new cd though because we don't know who played on it yet, but any of the new after this seem like they will be interesting.

There is only one but there...the new guys haven't composed anything. Let's hope that Andrey was able to change the songs to the direction of metal.
