ACCEPT seems to become more an d more americans...??!! they never needed such stupid headline to show the world their point of view to special topics. they did it very intelligent on every record with phrases against millitarism, for human rights or against any religious fanaticism... with songs like "fight it back", "man enough to cry" or "heaven is hell"... they gave big messages with the title of "russian roulette" but stalingrad is dumb, i think... what should i first think about when i hear stalingrad? 2 million soldiers died in stalingrad and died as prisoners???writing about these topics - yes. but not in that stupid way, with an album title like this!!! maybe a band like rammstein is known for provoking with pictures like this; ACCEPT DON'T NEED THIS!!! hope you understand what i mean....

A good view. I hope Accept will be reasonable and gentle as ever. As for Stalingrad, may be its better not to see it like a only German tragedy. May be to see it like a Russian and German tragedy? Let me tell You one episode from this battle when it was over. A military Russian journalist saw a group of German prisoners under command of Russian officer - yesterday enemies were unmounting barricade today . He was interested and asked this officer - what people are these Germans? The answer was "people are people". Our nations suffered by this wars much more then others. May be thats why I like German music with tragic tunes more than joyfull Anglo-American. There is another documented story I found lately. Nazi were attacked by partisans and 3 of them were killed. Nazis had an order to kill hundred civilians for every soldier. They killed 300 civilians among them kids. But most striking was the reason they wrote in documents - they killed kids because " it would be too hard for kids to live without parents".But one nazi soldier saved a girl- he let her escape. But life goes on and we are better to reject sins of past . Our life here is just a begining of eternity. By the way, today there were a funeral of my relative of 85 yo. He participated in this war as a pilot-ace with many awards and was a farther of 3 kids . We should all forgive each other and to make lessons for future. Pride can lead every man to Hell. Love will make us stronger.

@stas-msk in generell the topic of war, the monster that killed millions of people is always a very important topic to talk about. and believe me, i do not think of tragedy for one or another nation... stalingrad for me stands for horrible war - it is a kind of symbol, a dirty bloody picture. and i would never use that to promote a commercial thing. i don't know to explain that in english exactly, but i hope you know what i mean.
to describe the topic or to make people think about it you don't have to provoke in that primitive way to use such a dirty headline. ACCEPT can do it in another!!!

Labas, Monstermanlt. Really tragic. As for my story it took place in 41 near Bryansk. But its just episode in a long number of such episodes. Orders were universal and were fullfiled punctually.
