Well, they tested if the 60 mg of cortisone a day for one week would help. There were not any significant results though, I think that was the final reason for the colonoscopy eventually. Then again I already had a 4 week course of cortisone which didn't help. That should have said something to the doctors. I am no doctor but if I were I would have done the colonoscopy a.s.a.p. In that way I would have saved patient's money for one thing and patient's nerves on the uncertainty matter. Finland has quite a good health care system though that the staying in the hospital isn't too expensive. It is 30 euros for one day and that is for 14 days. After that it costs 14 euros a day. If I can leave the hospital on Wednesday then my check is 420 euros.

For frigg's sake do they charge you It's all free health care in Hungary in theory ,You only need to donate money to doctors and nurses ! Jeno

True but our health system is dying... Just heard on the radio that some doctors are talking about hunger-strike because of the hard situation of the hospitals...

Colonoscopy is over. It was done already in the morning. So there is inflammation which has caused also the weight loss besides diabetes. Some new medication is planned but I think it is only contemporary until the worse inflammation has been healed. Now what I want is more sick leave in order to get better and healthier before going to work.

Yes! That day will be a worldwide international red-letter day Hey Mika does Virpi visit you regularly in the hospital? As I know the third year anniversary of you two was some days/weeks ago... Did you celebrate that somehow?

A short message from the hospital cafeteria: I am free as an eagle! Yihaa! Well, I need to visit hospital on Monday morning. They check how my blood values are and so on and will continue my sick leave a week ahead or so. Two weeks in a hospital is very near what man can take at one time.
