Couple days here was -18.4F, but now it's warmer again. The coldest weather here was when I was about 10 years old, -40F (-40'C)

Dude I test devices at -40C all the time. Standard test point throughout the industry. When you pick something up with bare hands it takes about 8 seconds to start hurting. The pain increases rapidly with each aditional microsecond. I can't imagine that cold of weather. I've seen sub zero in Germany in the 80's but -40? F**k that is cold.

back in 1994 when my son was 6 weeks old, we had to fly to bismark north dakota for my wifes grandmother funeral. when we left phoenix it was in the 70, we got to denver and it was 18. when we landed in bismark it was -60!! and it was the older airports where you got out of the plane outside and walked to the building! there i was in sweat pants and a t-shirt! ugh. luckily it was only a minute or so to get into the building. what a dumbass tourist from arizona!! hahahaha we had all of our cold weather gear in our luggage. we had my son wrapped in an aphgan. man, we was stupid! that was d**ned cold man. later, i was putting gas in the rental car and just after a couple of minutes, the hair in my nose was frozen! i had to sit in the car and wait for the tank to fill up.
