I have not ever heard of AXXIS before. Are they a european band? It sounds like everybody here likes them. They are an old German band from the late 80's. They were playing hard rock back then. Now two latest album by them are power metal, so they have changed their style to a harder direction. I think this song describes the best way their style nowadays: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0p8S5YzfiJgHere's stuff from their first album: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejFvNtXpT3AAnd second album's soft ballad: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-jhUBoDHKk&feature=relatedYou are not the only one who hasn't heard of them before. The singer said to me that they are described by people as newcomers. He said it feels funny because they are almost 20 year old band. In Germany they're famous, but pretty unknown elsewhere, until now at least. Guess who is on the live crew of Axxis? No other than Frank Trzaskowski. I read that from the booklet of the new Axxis cd. It's a pity I didn't notice Frank T. in Tampere.

Man, this isn't good news:
"Andrè Hilgers(drums) and AXXIS will go different ways by mutual agreement.
Andrè will concentrate his full energy on Rage in the future. We wish him the greatest success out there and we want to say: Thanxx for all! We're sure that we all will hear a lot of positive things in the future from Andrè.
Bernhard:"Andrè is a great person and a super drummer. He would earn to reach the top-ten list of the best drummers in Germany. We will miss him." Harry:" We wish Andrè all the best for his future and we're looking back on wonderful 4 years in a successful time.""

Blimey! He would have fit Axxis better than Rage. I'm not so big fan of Rage. Axxis needs a good power house drummer and I know only one who is on the free market.

no, his name is stefan schwarzmann. metal drummer extraordinaire!! that would really kick ass. Axxis is one of my sons favorites bands so if schwarzmann were to join, that would only make them better. let's just hope!

It doesn't sound familiar in Hungarian: Fekete István ;D Neither in Finnish: Stefan Mustamies (musta=black, mies=man)

;D Fekete means Black. Blackman is "fekete ember", but it doesn't have any meaning... When a man is black we simply say "fekete" instead of "fekete ember". It's something like bakerman. Baker is "pék" and we don't say "pék ember" but simply "pék"
