that is correct about the arizona taxes.
as far as the social guarantees go, every man or woman should make a wage depending on their skill, drive level, and knowledge. for instance, if you are naturally brilliant and have the desire to succeed, and to keep pushing yourself toward a better standard of living, why should be taxed so high to support someone else? let's say i'm a lazy bastard, sell drugs, rob houses, and old people. i also get this great "welfare" check from government because it isn't "fair" that those who work should make more money than me because i had a bad childhood. so why should i make the same amount of money from the government while not working as you do working?! or even half?! or even a quarter?
or
why should you only have to work until your 45 or 50 then get government checks for the rest of your life (another 40 or 50 years)?! that is not sustainable. and that's where socialism falls apart (see greece and others).

Impossible to disagree with Your opinion, John.
Society must support not lazy parasites. Society must support who really needs this support.

Society must support who really needs this support.
that is MOST true!! those who cannot support themselves because of a handicap or other issues deserve our up most support!! those who prefer to 'play the system' and leech off the system are despicable human beings.
but with governments offering all this "help", it just creates more dependence and laziness and who motivation does a person have if he knows the government will take care of him?! none! so they turn into dependents on the government for life and vote for more politicians who promise to keep their lifestyle the same or even make it better for nothing! then it starts snowballing and getting bigger and bigger (see greece and others).

The is a good story.By the way, from US. One old man visited his friends who had very clever little girl. The girl said that she wanted to be President. The man asked the girl- "What would You do firstly?" Girl - " I would help homeless people" Man- " You dont need to be president to start doing this. Come to my house and clean it- I will pay You $50. You wil spend them helping homeless people." Girl started thinking- "Well, these homeless people can clean Your house themselves and get this money directly" Man, shaking her hand- " Now You became conservator, my dear "

The general VAT in Hungary is 27%. I think I'm the winner of this game There are rumours that in Finland it should be soon 25%, but yeah that doesn't touch the level of Hungary.

The general VAT in Hungary is 27%. I think I'm the winner of this game There are rumours that in Finland it should be soon 25%, but yeah that doesn't touch the level of Hungary. And try to compare the salaries!!! Here's the minimal salary is around 70 thousand forints (around 318 $!!!). Just paying your bills for the general things like heating, water and electricity you have to pay 80% or your salary!!! And then they come out with the 27 VAT!!! Man, isn't it crazy??? Good for Finland, one of the richest European countries (like the other scandinavian countrie). Plus we have more than 11% unemployed rate! Factories and workplaces are closing from one day to another. It seems my mother's workplace will also be closed!!! How could I plan a future in this conditions? We were never been on a holiday or something, because we don't have money for it. I've never been abroad, even in the neighboring countries (I know they're close to inland, because Hungarians are everywhere, fu_ck this history...). I don't know what will I do... it's really hard for me to buy a single CD, that's why I'm buying mainly from Hungarian bands (and the other reason is I love them so much!), because their albums are much cheaper and I can afford them. How could I have a work? How could I raise a child?

that's why school and education are so important! so you're not stuck at the minimal wage forever!! although socialist governments prefer this so that you'll stay dependent on them, which means more votes for them. anyway, the smarter and more skilled you are, the better paying jobs you can get. unless your country ships all the good jobs to india like ours does.

Zolli, I hope You are not in despare. NO FEAR. You know, I always admired how priests live- little money but many kids. If God gives a child, he will give him food. And he give as mind to use our chances. After death Angels will show us all the Earth in its past and future- whats the special use of travelling now? "Without faith a world is not enough. And a believer will accept his every cross". PS For me it was rather interesting about Magna Hungaria - see map of 1516 by Martin Waldseemuller komartky.ru/ru/uploads/posts/2010-06/1277531390_vald.jpg [/img] he depicts it in Bashkiria , where Ufa is capital now. More over, Bashkiria names and titles sound similar like many Hungerian.

Then again the price level in Finland is one of the highest if not the highest in the world. And I also never get it why somebody can earn say 300 000 euros per year. The income difference is also huge in Finland. That difference shouldn't be so big and it's getting bigger and bigger. I should also say one thing: Finland and its nation lifted up this country from the "swamp". We are the only Nation who paid all the war reparations because of the World War II and still become one of the richest countries in the world. As for now, everything seems to go into a wrong direction: especially the Conservatives want to give money to Greece. The first thing would be to concentrate on home country. The bigger the income difference gets, the more crime will be increased. One of the good sides of Finland is that this is a safe country. If the politicians do the same kind of procedures as today, Finland becomes dangerous country to live in. Some people are starving here in Finland, but politicians (especially the Conservatives) try to hide it. These people in the pic are queuing for food in Helsinki. Ps. They have shut down many factories here in Finland too. If thinking about Nokia company, they have also kicked out many people out. And they go to a countries where they don't have to pay so much money as in Finland to the workers.
